All Natural Home made Soap

so my family is really big on natural products and i thought how about trying some soap making.
now i kind of cheated as i didn't make the soap from scratch, however this is a quick and simple way for personalised scented soaps.

So i chose to use Clearly natural unscented Glycerine soap. this was very cheap however any natural unscented soap will be fine. i used 4 bars and made roughly 20 soaps

i chose to use limes and lemons for a fresh smell however you can use berries, oranges any fruit.
zest 2 limes

line a pudding tin with cling film,  any moulds that you use should be lined for easy subtraction of the soap.

Cut the Soap into cubed pieces this will help it melt quicker and evenly

Place the soap in a pirex dish and microwave for 10 second intervals until melted,
Note: do not let it boil

Place the zest of the fruit into the soap and stir, add desired amount for colour wanted. this is the colour of 2 limes.

Pour the liquid soap into the moulds

i then repeated the process with a lemon for a variety of smells.

Once the soap has fully set simply remove them from the moulds and there you go you have Scented Soap!

I Wrapped the soaps in 3's in cellophane. prefect gifts to go in hampers.
found that the zest also acted as a exfoliator when in use.
